VOLUNTEER AT A FAIR TRADE WORLD

Join our global community, volunteer with A Fair Trade World and help transform and impact the lives our artisans and their families. We welcome all highly motivated and compassionate volunteers who are driven by our mission and products.

Volunteer Program Option One:

Do you love showcasing ethical/sustainability jewelry and handbags and love meeting new people? If so, volunteer with us on-site or virtual. Responsibilities below. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work directly with our Founder Dr. Linda Edwards.

*Flexible hour included to accommodate student workers schedule

Qualifications
Basic knowledge of computer (PC/MAC) and data entry. Demonstrates solid writing and communication skills as well as a passion for Fair Trade.

1. On-site, Virginia Location
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to-organizing database systems i.e Quick books, answering direct calls, preparing correspondence as needed, maintaining registration forms, and general administrative duties as instructed by Supervisor.

2. Virtual
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to- website and weekly social media upkeep i.e Instagram and Facebook updated post, virtual promotion of events to members, and other general duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Volunteer Program Option Two:

This option is a hands-on opportunity for anyone interested in fundraising and fair trade development. This position is great for someone who wants to develop or has sales experience, very interactive, passionate, organized, and detail oriented. Computer and public speaking skills are required. We have Fundraising Samples and Sample Letters.
